Descaling chemicals work as chemical substances, which are used for the purpose of limescale removal from metal surfaces in contact with hot water, like in water heaters, boilers, etc. The Descaling Chemicals are usually acidic compounds such as hydrochloric acid that displays reaction with compounds of alkaline carbonate present in the scale, creating carbon dioxide gas and soluble salt.
