Condenser Water Scale and Corrosion Inhibitor are specifically designed for HVAC and HVACnR system water.
Cooling Water Antiscalants or Scale Inhibitors are chemical compounds that inhibit or prevent scale formation in the heat exchanger by means of sequestering calcium and magnesium salts, dispersing silica, chelating iron and breaking-up colloidal deposits like clay and silt that are otherwise formed in the heat exchanger.
Antiscalants that are effective - are profitable for the facility for its round the year savings of power and labor, and increase in efficiency of chillers, increase in cooling capacity and extended system life.
Application: Cooling Towers, Air Washers, Evaporative Condensers, HVAC, Cooling Water Heat Exchangers, Radiators, Gear Boxes, Injection Mouling Machines, Blow Mouling Machines, Housings, D.G.Sets etc.
Chemical Type | Organic Chemical Compound |
Form | Liquid |
Specific Gravity | Ranges from 1.1 - 1.2 depending upon product |
pH | Ranges from 3 - 9 depending upon product |
Solubility | Completely Soluble in Water |
Dosage: Cooling Water Antiscalants are normally fed continuously to the re-circulating water. It can be injected by chemical dosing pump or fed directly to the CT sump (basin). The amount of antiscalant required to inhibit scale formation depends on the quality of feed water and plant operating conditions. The specific dosage rates will be specified by the CSL technical representative.
